NEWS RELEASE:

MOOSE LODGE CHILD AND SENIOR ID KIT LAUNCH IN NORTH WEST REGION

Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 947 and Ontario Provincial Police working together for safer communities.

(Thunder Bay, ON) On February 25th, 2017 (10am - 2pm), the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will join with the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 947 to launch the Child and Senior ID Kit in Thunder Bay. The purpose of the EZ Child and Senior ID kits is to collect information and photos of a child or vulnerable person. The information could later be presented to the police in the event of an abduction or missing person.
The kit is completed in five steps: officers and community partners will complete a child/senior ID data entry form with the assistance of a parent or guardian, complete a fingerprint scan and capture a photo and a short video clip. When that is complete, the information can then be copied onto a USB drive or burned to a CD.
